Masters of Metaphysical Science - Holistic Health

The Master of Science in Herbalism will guide you through the ancient art and science of herbal medicine. You will study each herb fully, with an excellent understanding of its active constituents, therapeutic actions, and potential uses. You’ll learn about herbs, and how to treat the ailments of the body’s systems from a holistic perspective.  You’ll learn how to conduct consultations to extract the information you need to support your herb recommendations.

The Master of Holistic Health will teach you all about holistic health. You'll have a solid understanding of the philosophies and principles that govern holistic health. You will learn what treatment is, how it works, and its benefits and uses. The treatments covered in this course include but are not limited to HomeopathyAcupressure, Herbalism, Reiki, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Yoga and Meditation,  Guided Imagery, and Visualization.

IAP 201: Holistic Anatomy & Physiology

Teaches how to analyze anatomy & physiology from a holistic,  energetic, sociological, naturopathic, and cultural perspective. A holistic approach provides a more thorough understanding of the human body.

AAH 201:  African American Herbalism

IHA: Herbal Antibiotics

MCP 201: Memory, Cognition & Pain Herbalism

Memory problems & difficulty concentrating aren't normal, regardless of age. Learn the many neuroprotective herbs available to boost memory & support cognitive functions and fight brain-based disorders. We will also learn about Inflammation at the root of many pain-causing conditions such as arthritisback pain & tendonitis. Learn what scientific research says about herbs that are used for natural pain relief.

HRC 201: Pediatric Herbalism

Utilizing herbal medicine for children can be safe with the proper dosing & good clinical judgment. This course serves as a guide to dosing herbs in children, general tips for using herbs in children, indications, and safety of key herbs studied for use in children. Dosing herbs in children is safe as long as the dose is adjusted appropriately. There are universal rules that apply when calculating herbal doses for pediatric cases. Gain an expert understanding of pediatric dosing.

SAH 201: Skin & Aging Herbalism

Human skin is considered the first line of defense and barrier against the majority of infections. This course teaches how healthy skin promotes a healthy body, how to prepare topical applications & how to treat the root cause of skin conditions.

Many of the oldest and best-known herbs protect the body from degeneration and fall into a category called adaptogens. Adaptogens help our body adapt to the strains of daily living and normalize the body’s functions in the face of stressors, restoring homeostasis and regulating cell metabolism.

IHH 201: Reproductive Herbalism

This course will help you access information about the action of herbs that have been found supportive for reproductive health issues. The reproductive system plays a huge role in our whole body's health, especially in women. There are many changes to reproductive health throughout life that affect mood, comfort, and well-being for men and women alike. Herbs can provide amazing benefits to reproductive health.

HDY 201: Making and Storing Herbs

Learn how to figure out which form of an herb works best for your needs, how to construct the best-blended herb formula, and how to make and buy good quality herb formulas. Learn some basic recipes infusions, decoctions, tinctures, capsules, honey, vinegar, oils, and more

FHH 201: Herb-Drug Interactions

The possibility of drug interactions, direct toxicities, and contamination with active pharmaceutical agents are among the safety concerns about herbal supplements. The perception is that herbs and dietary supplements are safe, but there are interactions that may occur between prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, dietary supplements, and even small molecules in food. Herbalism requires expert knowledge to provide safe & effective remedies. You'll become that expert.

LEP 101: Laws, Ethics, and Practice

This course teaches professional ethics and holistic healthcare laws. You'll have a full understanding of the laws in your state, legal language, and how to ethically work with clients as a holistic practitioner.

​

Approaching health from a comprehensive African -centered viewpoint, this course teaches how to treat the whole person with a distinct focus on the physiological and psychological differences between people melanated people and the mainstream standard.

​

AHH 200: Advanced holistic health

Advanced studies and a continuation of Foundations of Holistic Health. You'll develop an advanced understanding of holistic health and the unique biological differences inherent in people of color.

​

IBB 100: The Mind-Body Connection

Physical problems are an outward manifestation of dis-ease. The Mind-Body connection is a valuable tool for assessing the root cause of illness and how the nervous system responds to stress in a manner that creates pain, discomfort, and disease.

​

IHM 201: Herbal medicine

Help heal others using herbal medicine. You'll learn how medicinal plants work, herbal anatomy, how to make herbal preparations, and safe and effective remedies for common ailments and chronic health concerns. 

​

EFT 201: Emotional Freedom 

Based on the theory that negative emotions are caused by disturbances in the body's energy, tapping on meridian points in the body is thought to restore balance and reprogram thought processes. This course introduces readers to the theories and methods behind the technique and shows them how to use it to reduce the physical and emotional impact of a wide range of issues including, depression, fears, phobias, anger, addictions, sleeplessness, and pain.

TIC 201: The inner cause

The body & the psyche are irrevocably linked. When illness or disease is indicated, the body is communicating to us that our way of thinking (although unconscious) is out of harmony with what is beneficial to our being. Illness indicates the need to change our belief system. The physical body does not create illness because the physical body simply follows directions.

IML 201: Melanin Lifestyle

This course teaches how people of color are more prone than people with less melanin to dis-eases born of bad food choices and how melanin is a blessing that can be used to achieve physical, mental, and emotional well-being.  

​

VHM 201: Vitamins, herbs, and melanin

This course teaches the true value of each major vitamin and mineral, relative to and for the health of melanated people.

​

CWH 201: Complete wellness

This course teaches how to reach the peak of wellness, in every area of the body. Discover the many treatments nature has to offer to address common ailments and return your clients to excellent health.

​

NAM 201: Nutrition as medicine

Food as medicine is defined as a therapeutic method in which food and nutrition are used in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease but truthfully food is always medicine. Learn the true soul food diet and how certain foods align with melanated people and why other foods don't.

​

ATH 201: Aromatherapy Healing

This course teaches aromatherapy including specific advice for children, women, men, and seniors. It also covers self-defense against microbes & contaminants & emotional challenges. The positive impact of essential oil use has become increasingly recognized, as scientific researchers throughout the world have explored essential oils and their constituents for their unique healing properties.

AUT 201: Auricular therapy

This course teaches the application of auricular therapy using ear seeds. It clearly demonstrates ear seed placement at corresponding acupuncture points for the treatment of common ailments. You'll be able to quickly address issues and start applying this safe non-invasive acupressure healing method.

HRC 201: Common Ailment Remedies

 You'll learn remedies for almost 200 conditions. A. You'll learn how to have easy conversations with clients about the symptoms and root causes of health problems along with a proven, natural, customized prescription that may include supplements, herbal medicine, homeopathy, aromatherapy, Chinese medicine, hydrotherapy, bodywork, natural hormones, and other natural cures in addition to nutritional advice.
